Sasto & Klinger was established in 1991. Located in Great Portland Street in central London, the firm is well placed to serve its expanding London, national and multinational client bases. Our reputation extends well beyond our central London base.
We pride ourselves upon giving practical, straightforward, robust and cost-effective advice to clients, as well as on the friendliness and approachability of our Partners & staff. Our size enables us to provide a very personal service and we aim to build long term relationships with clients. A great number of our clients have been with us from when the firm was first established, whilst some relationships extend back over 30 years. A significant number of our clients are referred to us by existing clients.
The firm provides a wide range of services to both commercial and private clients. Commercial clients include well known high street names, property developers and investors, banks, landlords, tenants, estate agents, surveyors, clothing and shoe retailers and importers, restaurants and catering companies. We also undertake work for many medical and dental partnerships and private care homes.
A significant proportion of our commercial clients also instruct us on private matters such as residential conveyancing, Will drafting and Probate.
We have a significant South African client base and strong links with one of the leading law firms in Cape Town.
Set out below are brief examples of some of the work that we carry out. To find out whether we can assist you with your specific needs, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sasto & Klinger undertake all aspects of commercial work, including company formation, mergers and acquisitions and disposals of companies and businesses, shareholder agreements, restructuring of organisations, venture capital investments, finance and partnership agreements and franchising.
We undertake both claimant and defendant work, and act both for commercial and private clients in a wide variety of contractual, regulatory, procedural and civil disputes.
We are instructed in landlord and tenant disputes, construction and development disputes, professional negligence claims, intellectual property disputes and debt recovery claims. We also act for medical professionals in non-clinical disputes.
A number of our clients are based overseas and claims frequently involve international elements.
Core to the firm’s success is our belief that disputes should be resolved as quickly and cost effectively as possible. Disputes often involve a considerable amount of hidden costs by taking up valuable management time and resources. We are, therefore, acutely aware of the commercial realities that clients face when they become involved in disputes and will look to resolve these without having to litigate, whenever appropriate.
We enjoy a strong reputation in a very competitive field and act in high value and complex transactions.
The firm undertakes all manner of commercial and residential property work, including acquisitions and sales, investment, development, secured lending, joint ventures, commercial and residential leases, statutory enfranchisement of freeholds and lease extensions.
We act on behalf of both property owners and developers throughout the UK.
Sasto & Klinger act on behalf of both employers and employees in employment related matters.
We undertake Wills and Estates work, including Inheritance Tax planning, applications for Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration, and the administration of Estates.
Our proximity to Central London County Court (which is only 4 minutes walk away) makes us ideal to carry out local agency work on behalf of other solicitors.
